Pack 77. 130 Polygon shapes PDF Artworks for Photoshop, PSP, Elements, Pages, Adobe Illustrator etc in standard PDF (Adobe Acrobat format). You can load them quickly and easy via the file open as well as file place etc commands and also use them to great effect with the new Creative Cloud libraries.
In PDF format (Adobe Acrobat)
The PDFs can also be quickly converted to PNG as well as JPG and other formats. The PDFs are all vectors for any size of work so you can use them with super huge artworks as well as small ones.
The vectors are all for commercial use, all are by Andrew Buckle / graphicxtras.com and can be used to create millions of items for sale as well as personal use and can be used to create 1000s of different artworks such as logos, books, adverts, packaging, leaflets, scrap booking, web pages and more.
On purchase, you receive polygons as well as notes and serial and gallery of all the artworks.
Above, the polygon shapes can be used as a layer and as a layer they can be duplicated and then transformed (or flipped) creating a mirror of the original vector. The artwork has then been aligned and then flattened with the original blue background layer. The preset is the same design as the previous image but has been rotated 90 degrees
They can be loaded via the open command in some versions of PS but the best way to open the CSH presets is via the CSH tool. Once loaded, they can be applied in countless ways such as via the cookie cutter tool in PS Elements and via the blur tool in Adobe ® Photoshop ®. They can be applied over and over, not just once. They are all in standard CSH. Once opened in PS then you can use them with the tools such as the custom shape tool as well as the cookie cutter tool if you are using the Adobe PSE application and you can create millions of amazing images in seconds such as combining them with type as below
Or combine them with images in 1000s of ways such as adding a very basic design at the side of an image as below such as adding them multiple times to form a grid of three rows and three columns of the same artworks. The artwork was added using them as a shape layer and then using the alignment tools and smart guides all the vector artworks were added to the right side of the image.
You can use the artworks with all kinds of color though by default it is a solid color. You can always add patterns and gradients to the vector by a simple addition via the fill and stroke dropdown but you can add even more complex color by using the vector shape as a layer and adding a layer effect such as gradient overlay and pattern overlays. With the latest version of Adobe PS, you can now add multiple gradient overlays which can be combined by using the ability to shift the layer effect as well as change the settings such as using them with radial or linear etc as well as combining them with blending modes as you can now create multiple gradients in a single layer effect and then combine them in 1000s of ways to create all kinds of super colorful artworks. You can also add the artworks to super colorful backgrounds also created using gradients and blending modes such as below
With the 3D features in Adobe PS, the polygon shapes(unless they are too complex for your version of PS and computer) can be used with the 3D menu command new 3D extrusion from selected layer (or path) and used to generate all kinds of stunning 3D objects that can be either printed or exported to other applications (such as saving them as a 3D obj format file). You can rotate as well as scale, roll, drag etc as well as set the texture, bump map, specular, diffuse, reflection, roughness etc for the object. You can also deform the artwork in all kinds of ways as well as add all kinds of bevels and paint effects to the model such as a basic 3D polygon shape below
You can also find our selection of polygon fonts as well as related brushes for PS and PS Elements and others perhaps of interest ??
They can be opened via the open command as well as place command. If you are using other applications then the actual opening of the shapes will probably vary but in most cases it will be as opening any other file format such as PNG or JPG file. You can also find many free applications on the web to convert the vector PDF format to JPG or PNG if you prefer those formats.
[Youtube] How to replace a white background with a transparent background in Adobe ® Photoshop ® There are a number of ways to do this and there are also a number of other videos by me showing different approaches. This video does show an example of a vector graphic with no shadow etc so there is no need to really go overboard with the selection. You find many of our video tutorials on the graphicxtras channel on Youtube.com as well as TipDesk.com. You can find out how to load them, how to warp them, use them as smart objects, use as a path, use with different renders such as flames and trees, use as a source for patterns, use them for brushes, use them in different channels, warp and distort them, how to scale them, how to blend them with other paths in your image, how to use them with type, how to turn them into a new vector artwork and save as PDF etc. Any questions, please let us know
You can use them to create commercial as well as personal use, you can also use them to create items that can in turn be used to create other presets CU4CU. You can use them to create logos, pens, t-shirts, books, posters, cups, socks, documents, packaging, adverts, videos, shoes and more. Any questions, please please contact us via our contact page (email, twitter, youtube message board etc)
The items in this set are all vectors and as vectors they can be used to any size. Add them to an image and then use the marquee tool to select the full added vector (or part if you wish) and then use the define brush command. You can add multiple applications of the CSH tool and create a far more complex artwork, perhaps mixing different CSHs as well as different sizes and angles of the vector and then define that. You can then re-define the stroke over and over with many variations in between. A single preset can be used to create 100s of different themed and unique strokes that can be added at any size (1000 x 1000 or 2000 x 2000 etc) and in any color. The entire set can be combined in millions of different ways
They all started in Illustrator but you could always use other apps such as the powerful Affinity Designer or Photo or Inkscape. Anyway, there are a selection of tools in Illustrator to create the curves / paths in many different ways. The best tools to use to create some truly wonderful vector artwork in Illustrator has to be the Vectorscribe set and also the Mirrorme and the beauty of the Mirrorme is that you can change the number of sides or mirrors you want to create with your new path (which could also be based on an existing one as well as perhaps a very basic one such as a single line or triangle etc as well as using many of the plugins available on this site to manipulate paths in many ways - many of my works start that way and are then built and built and combined with other paths). Once you have created your closed path then you can fill it with a number of colors or perhaps add a stroke. The PDFs can be made up of a single item or multiple paths and then can all be saved as a PDF. The PDF command can be found in the file menu save. Virtually all the paths in the sets in these sets were created in that way
You can use the artworks in this set as is and just add them as required as a vector layer but you can also use them as a great source for amazing tiles in many 100s of ways by using transformations and combinations and blending modes and opacity as well as different color combinations as well as using them with effects and more.
