The rain plug-in can be used to create a vast range of different designs such as

 

Default setting for the rain effect, The plugin comes with many different presets. The plugin creates lines with attached objects such as circles (squares as well as selected items and much more). The lines can also be curved, angled and much more to create stunning backgrounds, black and white or colored.

 

The plugin can also be used without the attached end path points so basic lines can be created in a vast range of styles such as curved or hatch as above in Illustrator. As the designs are just standard paths, you can also then just manipulated them further by adding width profiles and brush strokes.

 

The plugin can also add color to the mix as well as create the rain effect with curved designs as well as just straight lines.

 

The plugin can generate a vast range of different shapes and tangles in seconds. Perfect for an abstract path background.

 

The plugin can also be used to generate designs based on a center as well as applying different color effects such as a range of colors from black to white for each of the generated elements. The rain design does not have to be circles, it can also be a vast range of different shapes as well as any selected shape.

 

The rain designs created are just standard paths and can be manipulated further by using variable width profiles, brushes etc as above.
