- Use the border symbols as framing devices or overlays or use the border symbols in Illustrator as a mask and much more
- The border symbols can be replaced with another symbol at any point in the creative process by using the Illustrator symbols palette replace command.
- The border symbols can be exported to other applications. The designs are all vector designs and can be modified by expanding the design and then modifying the border design. The modified design can then be re-saved as a new Illustrator symbol for future use.
- The border symbols can have effects applied to them via the effects menu, apply blurring effects or stained glass effect. Further modifications can be applied via the appearances palette such as adding new fills etc
- The border symbols designs can be transformed and warped into new Illustrator shape designs.
