Tutorials

Tutorial 1 ]Rings plug-in gradient effect

1) Initial rings plug-in setup: 12 Black and white rings. The plug-in does not use the foreground and background color.

2) Red rings and green rings set 3, blue left at default 12. This results in a blue / yellow ring set

3) Set the horizontal center to -100, this will move the center of the gradient to the right

4) Set the rings dropdown to ring 12. The plug-in comes with many different ring designs: some basic, some ring designs based on variation of color rings, some rippled designs and more

5) End result: shiny skewed radial gradient effect (record)

Tutorial 2 ]Lighten up faded look

1) Initial image of Chicago

2) Set lighten up option to side glance, creating a diamond center

3) Set blur to 12 and 12, intense to 44

4) Set the factor to red 201 green 167 and blue 133, this doubles the value of the red pixel, 1 1/2 times the green and 1 1/3 the blue. The blur is now a sepia color.

5) End result: a blurry Chicago sepia image
