Example of the cat turned into 3D using Repousse in Photoshop Extended CS6 / CS5 tutorial 1) Set the shape as a shape layer and then create the cat shape via the custom shape tool Select one of the shape designs.
2) The shape has been drawn with the current foreground color set in the Photoshop toolbox
3) 3D menu > Repousse > Layer mask (you will have to click OK to the dialog that appears for the shape layer)
4) Repousse dialog appears, you can now rotate, change the bevel, materials, lights and much more
5) You can also modify the 3D design further via the 3D palette (materials) setting a whole range of different surfaces, lights etc to the cat. The cat can then be exported to a 3D application such as Poser via the 3D format OBJ etc
