Loading flower brushes in Photoshop CS6 CS5 CS4 etc Load the brush strokes via the edit preset manager or the brushes palette. The flower brushes can then be selected and applied in numerous ways

Custom shapes into flower brushes Photoshop tutorial 1) Layer menu and new layer (I always like to develop brushes on a layers as then the brush can have additional effects such as shadows and metallic etc effects) 2) Select the shape tool 3) Go to the custom shapes palette and load the flower shapes 4) Set color for the new brush stroke (gray, more or less, black or white.. can't be red or blue) 5) Set custom shape option to fill pixel 6) Apply custom shape flower design 7) Repeat the design in different locations throughout the layer with perhaps different colors as well as different opacities 8) Combine the flower brushes with different filter effects such as blurs 9) Edit menu and define brush command 10) Save brush via the brushes preset menu
Define brushes - flower brushes in Photoshop A near infinite range of flower brushes can be created using the flower shapes - the designs can all be saved as ABR format, alternatively don't use the edit menu followed by define command and just save the designs as PNG format and then those can be used in other software (ABR format can be used in a limited number of software). Pack 147 flowers used below - combined to create a slightly more complex brush stroke.
Flower brushes in Photoshop - Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 The brushes work fine in the creative suite set 5.5 as well as earlier versions. The brushes also work fine in Photoshop Elements, PC and MAC OS X.

The pattern is then created using the layer fill new layer pattern command in Photoshop. The flower brush can be re-colored. The brush can be combined with other elements in Photoshop as well as applying effects and layer effects (such as a bevel) - literally a single flower brush can be used to create a near infinite selection of pattern designs. The flower brushes can also be used to create quick and easy textures that can be used as a backdrop to brush strokes via the brushes texture feature in the brushes palette.
The flower brushes can also be used to create pattern / textures that can be saved as a PSD file and then used as a source for amazing effects in displacements and glass distortions as well as the texturizer filter in Photoshop and Photoshop Elements.
