Color of the font shapes - doodles

By default the font color is none. Still I get quite a few e-mails concerning the font designs and that they can only be black - that is not the case.

You can change the color of the font shape in many different ways and each application has its own peculiar way of changing the color of the doodle (or any other font) shape.

In Photoshop, select the current doodle / sketch shape and set the text color via the top option bar.

In Illustrator, select the text and change the color via the fill color option (you can also change the stroke for the text as well) - you can also change the color of the doodle font by clicking a swatch

In PaintShop Pro, display the material palette and set the fill / background color to red or green etc and then type the doodle character using the text tool.

The examples above are sketch shapes and designs such as crosses and rings and rough star doodles from the pack 7 set. The doodle / sketch shapes are displayed in black but they can be any color, they can also be filled with effects as well as gradients and patterns.

Access the designs as you would Times New Roman or any other font, just type the characters A B C D E F G etc.

You can also access the font shapes via the charmap application on the PC and select the shapes via the charmap interface and copy and paste into your host application.
