Tutorial 1 Font character into Paint Shop Pro preset shape

Select pieces font, select size and color and then select the text tool. Type required character (s). Click the apply. Objects > Convert text to curves > single (or as character shapes if required). File > Export > Shape to use the shape in future. The shape properties can be modified via the materials palette

Tutorial 2 Font anti-aliasing in Photoshop

Selecting a font and then a particular character, the general appearance of the text may be right or wrong and this may be down to the anti-aliasing method. Set to sharp and the character may look bloated and the shape difficult to discern. Try a different anti-aliasing methods such as smooth for generally a better result from the symbol designs.. The example below shows the anti-aliasing from left to right: none sharp crisp strong smooth.
