Accessing the octopus vector shapes

The butterfly / octopus etc shapes can all be accessed via the standard file menu followed by open command.

On selecting the octopus shape you will see a dialog and you can then select the required width and height and mode and bit depth and resolution and how the item is cropped. As the octopus shapes are vector designs, the width and height can be any value

3D design in PagePlus Desktop Publishing Processing Package

The design can also be turned into 3D via the instant 3D command. Once the design has been converted into 3D, you can also use the PagePlus 'publish as PDF' to save the design as a new PDF file which can then be imported into other software. The saved PDF does save the 3D as a rasterized image

1) File menu followed by the Open command (select the PDF octopus file)

2) Click the instant 3D toolbox button

3) Rotate as required

4) Change the depth via the top palette bar of PagePlus (along with bevel type, lights, lathe, texture, lens etc)

Converting PDF to PNG etc (Photoshop) tutorial

If you have Photoshop and would prefer to convert all the designs on mass, use the image processor (or the batch process if you set up a basic action). You can, of course, convert all the (octopus or otherwise) PDF files one by one, this shouldn't take too long even with 200 files. You can also create a droplet to apply the conversion.

4) Select JPG or PSD or TIFF
