T-shirts and the border designs tutorial for Photoshop, Illustrator etc The border shapes can be used, like all the designs on this site, for many different things. How you actually add the border design to a t-shirt can vary (take it a company or you can print out the design etc) but whatever way, you can create them for yourself or you can use them to create t-shirts for commercial sale.
A basic t-shirt design below, with the basic design just added to the front of the t-shirt
You can, of course, use more than one design on the t-shirt - so perhaps add two border shapes to the shoulders ? or perhaps two border designs - one on the front of the t-shirt and one on the back of the shirt.
The shapes can also be used as a source for a pattern - the pattern can be used as the design for a t-shirt. The border designs can be used as a pattern design in software such as Illustrator (just save as a pattern swatch) or as a pattern design for a pattern overlay in Photoshop as well as other software
Border shapes are vectors for re-sizing, etc The border shapes are all vectors so they can be re-sized and re-sized without any impact on the actual design - so if you want a small pattern design or only a few of the border designs, set to a larger scale (how to do this varies from application to application but in Illustrator the pattern swatch can be re-sized via the edit menu or if you can just re-import the border vector design as set to a lower or higher resolution)
The border design does not have to be applied with the same scale but it can be stretched across the t-shirt design (as mentioned before, the border shapes are vectors and can be rotated and warped and transformed in many ways)
Border shapes for designs The border design can, of course, all be used as an actual border or frame for another design - in this case, a face
The border designs can also be re-colored so if you have a design and you want to add it to a t-shirt and you want the design to be blue or green and not black or as created - the design can be broken apart in Illustrator or just re-colored in Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro
A shadow or bevel can also be added to the shape design - this can be done in many ways in many different software such as duplicating the shape and setting the back shape to black or via layer styles menu and drop shadow option in Photoshop and other software.
The t-shirt design can also be combined with the border shapes in the form of a mask
The border designs can be used as a source for a brush (edit menu and define brush command in Photoshop or copy the border shape into the brush palette in Illustrator or use the custom brush palette and a selection in PaintShop Pro etc).
The brush strokes can be one color or multiple colors as well as varying sizes to create unusual t-shirt designs.
