Opening heart graphic shapes in Illustrator tutorial 1) file menu followed by open command 2) select one of the heart / wedding PDF shapes 3) Re-size the shape using the selection tool 4) Click the edit contents button 5) Select heart design 6) Copy and delete 7) Delete the remaining bounding box 8) Paste back the original heart shape
The heart shape is now free of the bounding box and is again easy to edit and modify Re-color the heart graphic shape in Illustrator tutorial The vector shape can be re-colored in a number of ways such as using KPT Vector effects or using the edit menu and edit colors command or just by editing the individual colors of the heart shape. You can also use the color guide palette ("window menu" and "color guide command")

You now have a single line of heart shapes in a row (6 heart wedding shapes in total)
Repeat the transform live effect i.e effect menu and distort sub menu and transform command and set the vertical setting instead to 114px
You now have a complete grid that is live and editable at any point and also all based on a single heart wedding shape (which can also be modified, rotated and re-colored) Heart shapes in Photoshop - recolor the designs The heart shapes can be quickly re-colored via the Photoshop image menu and the hue command.

example - the heart shape has been re-colored by using an adjustment layer in Photoshop CS6 / CS5 (same for CS4 etc) - this means the heart shape design can be re-colored at any point in the creative process. Or via the image menu.
example - the heart shape design from pack 18 has now got a layer effect applied in Photoshop - the gradient overlay has transparency to apply the color only parts of the shape. Again, the shape could then be further modified by an adjustment layer as well as modified by the normal image menu commands. Added January 17th 2012
