Video shows the use of PDF designs / layers in various graphics applications. The examples shown are from the graphics bundle pack from graphicxtras.com. The designs are all stored in PDF format, all stored in PDF format for use in any size of document. The video shows many examples of the graphics packs designs included in the bundle set as well as how to import the designs into Photoshop, Illustrator, Photoshop Elements, Paint Shop Pro and others. How to use the designs as layers, how to convert to brushes, how to convert to patterns, how to apply effects to the designs, use of the designs with layer effects in Photoshop, how to use the layers in Photoshop Elements. The PDF designs are all loaded into the various applications (pc or mac, though the examples show the use on the PC). The PDF design can be opened via the file > open command (in Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Illustrator etc) or use the place command (in Photoshop etc) Use the design as a layer, as a background element and more. For PC and MAC OS X, for commercial use.
All the designs are vectors and can be used to any size of document. The designs are all stored in PDF format (Adobe Acrobat format), an easy to use and common format and can be opened and imported into many applications such as Photoshop / Paint Shop Pro and others. Many different design sets are included in the bundle set including dots designs, embellishment designs, Christmas designs, hearts designs and many more. The designs can all be combined in millions of ways. Use the designs as sources for brushes and patterns in Photoshop. All the designs (such as below) are for commercial as well as personal use. You can use them as part of a logo, as a background, in packaging, in videos, in fashion designs, leaflets, books and much more. Use to create web designs, use in images and more. On the purchase of the bundle set, you will be sent the download link to all the design sets (such as the spiral packs, arches packs, embellishment packs etc). Each contain thumbnail galleries as well as the PDF designs as well as documentation and more.
The sets include many different types of designs. The sets include many different gradient themed designs as well creating 3D-like designs.
Use the file > open command to access the PDF file or use the place command. Below shows the place command in action in Photoshop. The PDF design is displayed and clicking OK will then place the PDF file as a layer in Photoshop. The layer can be rescaled as required as well as rotated. On completition of the placement of the heart design, it will appear in the layer palette as a smart object. The design can then be re-sized etc as required later. Smart filters can then be applied to the design. You can always rasterize the design at a later point to a normal layer. Using the open command, you will be offered many different page options, image size (you can set the size to any size within Photoshop limits), dpi, color mode (open as RGB, CMYK etc as required) and bit depth (8 bit or 16 bit) For Photoshop ® Elements, the file > open and file > place are still valid but less options are available in the opening. Styles etc can still be applied to the imported design.
Use the file > open command in Paint Shop Pro. A dialog is then displayed and you have to set the resolution, image type etc for the new file. If you want a huge file, set the resolution to 600DPI or beyond. You can always then simply copy the design into an actual document / image and use as a layer etc
