The alien symbols can be re-colored using the symbols sprayer / stainer tool. The symbols can be expanded into normal paths and the individual components can be re-colored and modified using the standard Illustrator points tools.
The alien symbols can be combined and grouped in Illustrator and then re-saved as new symbols for future use.
The alien symbols can be changed at any point in the creative process. Use the replace command on the symbols palette to change an alien language symbol into another design.
The alien symbols can be converted quickly to alien brushes, simply select the alien symbol and drag from the Illustrator palette to the document and then drag back into the brushes palette, save as a scatter brush or alien artistic brush
