Opening Manga zoom shapes in Photoshop

The zoom shapes in pack 14 are CSH format. Access the zoom / manga shapes in Photoshop via the file open command or the preset manager

Create extreme zoom designs in Photoshop

The zoom custom shapes can be applied once but to create truly unique zoom and weird and wonderful designs in Photoshop, apply them multiple times - using a single color or different colors for each applied zoom shape instance. Select the custom shapes tool and set the current color via the foreground for the zoom and apply

Using the same color, an additional custom shape is applied from a different start point and this is repeated a number of times to create a clashing extreme zoom design

1) The examples above would perhaps lead to the conclusion that the custom shapes zoom lines designs can only be one color. However, the color of the custom shape can be changed and the quickest way to do this (though not the only way), is via the foregeround color in the toolbox. In the example below you can see the first of the zoom lines applied and the foreground color is black

2) The foreground color is now changed to red and the custom shapes tool is once again selected and the same shape is applied, though in this case at a smaller size but using the same centre

3) The foreground color is changed back to black and the custom shape is then again applied. The shape can be changed as well as the color, so the color could have been yellow or green etc. Also, you could have used a selection and applied an effect to the existing design. You could also have used adjustment layers in between software and created the next shape on a new layer by using the layer > new layer command.

Adding text to the talk balloon frame design in Photoshop

Using pack 49 talk balloon shapes - the shape is applied as black (it could be set to any color via the foreground color setting in the toolbox of Photoshop)

To add text to the design, select the horizontal type tool and set the color to white (or red etc) and place within the bounds of the text balloon (you could also just draw out the text box within the shape)
