Additional notes
1) Combine preset shapes: The collection preset shapes can be used and combined with Paint Shop Pro ® throughout.
2) Gradients and patterns : The shapes can be filled with the current gradients and patterns and textures (the shapes can then be saved as a new shape)
3) Pen tool for preset shapes: Shapes can be tweaked using the pen tool to modify the individual vector points to create unique shape designs as well as project specific forms.
4) Shapes palette: The shapes are all accessed via the shapes palette. Simply select and then apply to the current document.
5) Flatten: Flatten the shape and use in the design with plugins and Paint Shop Pro ® effect filters. Use in combo with Paint Shop Pro ® picture tubes and textures. Use shapes / selection and more. Use the shapes as picture tubes by using the layer / promote and export to picture tube format. You can also save the selection from the vector layer and this is useful for say bevel or drop shadow etc

6) Brushes: Apply brush strokes to the collection's preset shapes and more
7) Line designs: Use the object tool to add fills such as hi-impact gradients and pattern fills as well as strokes and line / dash designs to the shapes. |
8) Transform: Drag and modify and transform the preset shapes
9) Materials: The presets can retain the supplied style (such as a golden or beveled appearance) via the retain style checkbox. Otherwise, the color can be set to the current gradient, color, pattern; or stroke.
10) Organizer: With Photo X2, the preset shapes can be displayed as thumbnails in the Photo organizer.
11) Tubes: The preset shapes can be saved and used as a new picture tube or even material or as a brush stroke.
12) Use: Use the Paint Shop Pro preset shape designs in illustrations, fashion designs, tattoos, books, CDs, leaflets, web designs, t-shirts, cups, video, scrap booking, merchandise and much more
13) PSP7: The set now includes a set for Paint Shop Pro ® 7 and these should only be loaded into Paint Shop Pro ® 7 though they can be used with 8 etc but only individually. The set now includes shapes files with unique names and can be used as a whole in Paint Shop Pro ® 8 9 X Photo X1 Photo X2
14) Installation on Vista / Paint Shop Pro X2. The shapes can be placed in the corel_11 folder under psp or a better location would be in the user account under documents and 'my psp files'. The file location can always be changed at any time via the preferences command 'file locations' and preset shapes panel |
