Opening Christmas shapes files
The shapes files are all in standard Photoshop CSH shapes. Many of the sets also contain EPS files as well as CSH though. The easiest way open the Christmas shapes is via the file open command - though I have found that some versions of Photoshop seem to have issues with opening them via the file open command - it generally works. The best way is to add the CSH file to the shapes folder of Photoshop or Photoshop Elements and then access the CSH file via the shapes palette right side menu. If you place a file 'snowflakes.csh' then that file will appear listed as snowflakes in the right side menu. You can also just use the load / replace command and as I have all my CSH shape files in a central location, I generally load my shapes via the replace command. You can load 1000s of shapes (in most recent versions of Photoshop) though you will probably find some issues if you try to load 10000 or so shapes into the palette - just makes it also very hard to search for a particular artwork as the thumbnails are not that large and there is no easy search feature added to the palette. An alternative way of opening shapes is via the edit menu manager.
