** Youtube video tutorial on how to install a truetype font TTF file on a Microsoft Windows PC **

1. Install a font on PC Windows

Start up the File explorer and then browse to folder with TTFfiles (or OTF etc) and double click it and click the install button at top of the opened application. Enter password for your administrator account if required and then click yes

 

The font is now available for use in Photoshop, PSP, Microsoft Word etc on your PC. Please note this is for windows 10 PC, though the same approach should be available in earlier versions of Windows PC

2. Font designs installed

Once you have your font installed, you can now go to Photoshop (see our tutorials on shapes and add background color to type in Photoshop etc. The font designs installed can also be used in tools such as Illustrator and especially useful with features such as the powerful touch type tool that can manipulate type in all kinds of ways to create the most amazing designs in seconds as well as how to warp your font designs as well as using the glyph panel to access all the fonts you have installed on the system and find all the hidden characters that are in many different typefaces
